INFINITE's L Reveals Plans For Solo Album And What Kind Of Music He Wants To Do

INFINITE’s L revealed that he’s planning on releasing a solo album before the end of the year. However, that doesn’t mean he’s going on break as an actor. “I’m currently looking into my next [acting] project,” said L. “And, though the specific timing has yet to be decided, I will be releasing a solo album toward the end of the year.”

On what kind of solo album he wants to release, L said, “The songs that I sang at INFINITE concerts or the solos that I had in INFINITE albums were all ballads. But for my solo, I want to have a variety of genres, and show people what I want to do, and what I can do.”

L is currently still in the planning stages for his solo album. “I don’t know whether [a drama or my solo album] will come first. If the album preparations happen quickly, you’ll see me return as a singer first, but if I get cast in a drama, you’ll see me as an actor again. Whatever I end up doing [first], I’m planning on growing a lot in the second half of this year, based on the things that I think I need to improve on.”

JTBC’s “Miss Hammurabi,” starring L and Go Ara, recently concluded its run on July 16.
