BTS Unable To Participate In Tribute Song For Michael Jackson
BTS’s agency has released a statement on being invited to participate in a Michael Jackson tribute song.
Previously, Jerry L. Greenberg, the former president of MJJ Music (Michael Jackson’s record label), revealed a video announcing that BTS was invited to participate in a tribute song for Michael Jackson’s 60th birthday.
On July 19, BigHit Entertainment shared, “[BTS] recently received a request [to participate in] a tribute song for Michael Jackson. It is a great honor to have even received this request.”
The agency continued, “However, it is unfortunately difficult for the group to participate as their album is being released soon and they have concerts for their world tour ahead,” explaining why they will not be able to join.
BTS’s repackaged album “Love Yourself: Answer” is set to be released on August 24.
