BTS Sees Record Number Of Stock Pre-Orders For "Love Yourself: Answer"

BTS has broken their own record for stock pre-orders!

The group is set to release “Love Yourself: Answer” next month. It is a repackaged album that will include seven new tracks, and is the final installment of BTS’s “Love Yourself” series.

As the company in charge of the album’s distribution, iRiver revealed on July 25 that the album has recorded a total of 1,511,910 in stock pre-orders during the first week it was opened, from July 18 to July 24. This number refers to the stock pre-orders made by wholesale dealers and retailers in Korea.

BTS has subsequently beaten their previous record for stock pre-orders that they set with “Love Yourself: Tear” earlier this year.

There is a lot of interest in the group’s new release overseas as well, as the album placed first on Amazon’s realtime Best Sellers in CDs & Vinyl chart in the United States soon after pre-orders were opened. It remained at No. 1 for several days, and is currently No. 2 as of 8 a.m. KST on July 25.

“Love Yourself: Answer” will drop on August 24.
