Watch: Seungri And Song Mino Parody Recent Political Events In Comedic "Where R U From" MV
BIGBANG’s Seungri has dropped a hilarious music video for his sub-title track “Where R U From”!
The track was first released as a part of Seungri’s solo album “The Great Seungri,” and Seungri performed it on music shows alongside his title track “1, 2, 3!” It was co-produced by Seungri and Future Bounce, and consists of lyrics co-written by Seungri and WINNER’s Song Mino, who also features in it.
In the music video released on July 27, Seungri and Mino parody the 2018 North Korea–United States summit, which took place last month, but as a “world summit” instead. At other points of the music video, Seungri is pretending to read a Time Magazine issue with himself on the cover or is dressed as a South Korean solidier, while Song Mino impersonates a North Korean military leader.
Sam Okyere, Daniel Lindemann, and Yoo Byung Jae (dressed as G-Dragon) make cameos in the video as well. Seungri also makes a reference to BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” music video. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg as he also caricatures himself.
