Jang Geun Suk's Agency To Take Firm Action Against Fans Who Follow Him To His Military Service
Jang Geun Suk’s agency has issued a warning to fans who follow the actor to his military service.
Jang Geun Suk enlisted quietly earlier this month but is not serving active duty due to his bipolar disorder diagnosis. He was recently assigned to the Seoul Metropolitan Fire & Disaster Headquarters.
However, there has been a disruption of his service due to his fans following him. Therefore, his agency Tree J Company uploaded a letter on their official website, asking fans to refrain from disrupting his military duty and issuing a warning to those who continue to do so.
The letter started off with, “Hello. This is Tree J Company. Because Jang Geun Suk’s work station is a place dealing with life and safety, it has a strict policy to control entry of the public.”
The agency continued, “If there are unnecessary visits from fans and an inconvenience to the workers there, it can be a serious disadvantage for Jang Geun Suk. We strongly ask you not to stand on the street or wait near the building because you want to see him before or after work. Those who violate the rules will be caught on the spot and prevented from any future activities, such as forced withdrawal from the fan club and entry to concerts. For the remaining two years, we respectfully ask that he be allowed to finish his military service as an ordinary citizen. Thank you.”
