Watch: American Version Of "The King Of Masked Singer" Releases First Look Through Trailer, Featuring Elaborate Costumes And More
FOX has revealed what its version of “The King of Mask Singer” will look like!
MBC’s popular variety show began in 2015, and it features celebrities performing songs while wearing disguises including full masks and costumes. The format puts the spotlight on the stars’ talent rather than appearance, and it also includes the fun challenge of everyone guessing who’s behind the mask. A panel of experts and the audience vote on which performer is the best in each round, and the overall winner in the episode is crowned the champion.
It was announced last fall that FOX is creating a remake of the show, and a first trailer has now been revealed! The show will be hosted by Nick Cannon, with panel members Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke.
The trailer gives a dramatic look at what the show has in store, including previews of some of the performances that have the panel awed and trying hard to figure out the singers’ identities. Nick Cannon also announces that the lineup of contestants will include Grammy award winners, Emmy award winners, and Hall of Fame players.
