BLACKPINK's 'DDU-DU DDU-DU' Becomes Fastest K-Pop Group MV To Hit 250 Million Views

BLACKPINK has broken another YouTube record with “DDU-DU DDU-DU”!

As of August 5 KST, BLACKPINK’s music video for “DDU-DU DDU-DU” has surpassed 250 million views on YouTube, making it the fastest K-pop group music video in history to reach the milestone. BLACKPINK took just over 50 days to achieve the feat, breaking BTS’s previous record of 71 days with “Fake Love.”

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” has been smashing K-pop group music video records left and right since its release on June 15, most recently breaking the record for fastest K-pop group music video to hit 200 million views in July. YouTube also confirmed last month that BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” achieved the second highest number of views in the first 24 hours of its release out of all the music videos in YouTube history, trailing only Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.”

The music video is BLACKPINK’s third to surpass 250 million views on YouTube, following “BOOMBAYAH” and “As If It’s Your Last.”

Congratulations to BLACKPINK on another impressive accomplishment!
