"30 But 17" Hits New Personal Best In Viewership Ratings + Final Results For "Are You Human, Too?"
The viewership ratings results are in for August 7!
According to Nielsen Korea, SBS’s “30 but 17” took the top spot in its time slot with a nationwide viewership rating of 9.1 percent (11 percent in the metropolitan area). This is the drama’s new personal best by 0.1 percent (0.9 percent in the metropolitan area).
The best-rated moment during the episode scored 12.1 percent (a new best by 0.7 percent), while the absolute number of metropolitan viewers also set a new record at 1.22 million. The drama also scored 4.5 percent in ratings in the key demographic of 20-49-year-olds.
The ratings are rising for “30 but 17” at the same time as the main romance storyline, as the growing trust between Yang Se Jong and Shin Hye Sun is complicated by a developing love triangle. We also learn more about the characters’ pasts, particularly between Shin Hye Sun and Wang Ji Won.
In the same time slot, KBS’s “Are You Human, Too?” aired its final episode with viewership ratings of 6.5 and 7.8 percent. Throughout its run, the show impressed viewers with its chemistry between the leads (Seo Kang Joon and Gong Seung Yeon), its slick execution of its sci-fi concept (including the use of special effects), and examining the hard questions about what it means to be human.
Finally, MBC’s “Risky Romance” scored 2.7 and 2.9 percent in the same time slot.
