Weki Meki Announces Fan Club Name + Official Colors On 1st Anniversary

Weki Meki fans now have an official name, and colors to use when cheering on the group!

On Weki Meki’s first anniversary on August 8, it was announced that the members chose the group’s official fan club name after taking submissions of ideas from fans. The name they chose is “Ki-Ling.”

“Ki-Ling” is described as a combination of the “Ki” in Weki Meki and “Ling” from the affectionate term “Darling.” The notice states, “It’s a word that means someone Weki Meki loves, and someone that loves Weki Meki.”

An additional meaning fits with the meaning of “Key” for the “Ki” in Weki Meki’s group name. The notice asks fans to be like a “key ring” for the group by always being together with them.

Weki Meki also announced that their official colors are “cherry tomato” and “vibrant yellow”!

Weki Meki made their debut on August 8 of 2017 with “I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend,” and most recently made a comeback in February with “La La La.”
