Actor Ahn Bo Hyun Talks About His Recent Phone Call With Kim Woo Bin

Actor Ahn Bo Hyun appeared on the August 8 episode of MBC’s “Radio Star” with the cast of the upcoming drama “ Hide and Seek.”

During the show, the actor talked about his close friend Kim Woo Bin, saying that Kim Woo Bin is the most important person in his acting career.

He said, “We graduated from the same modeling school. We’re one year apart, and before we met as actors, I even borrowed his clothes once for a school event. When I was in the army, he was the only one that came to visit me.”

When the hosts asked how Kim Woo Bin’s doing these days, Ahn Bo Hyun said, “We talked on the phone a couple of days ago. It was the first time in a long while. I think it had been a couple of months, and [hearing his voice] made me cry. I texted him yesterday letting him know that I was going on ‘Radio Star,’ and he was so happy for me.”

“He sounded well over the phone,” said Ahn Bo Hyun, “and he’s doing much better.”

Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer in May 2017, and has been undergoing treatment since. In a recent statement, Kim Woo Bin’s agency SidusHQ stated that the actor’s condition has improved enough for him to begin exercising.
