Yoon Do Hyun Wins Daughter's Approval Thanks To BTS's Jin

Yoon Do Hyun recently talked about how he felt thankful towards BTS’s Jin.

On the August 8 broadcast of JTBC’s “Let’s Eat Dinner Together,” Yoon Do Hyun and Jaurim’s Kim Yoon Ah took on the challenge of eating together with strangers.

During the episode, Yoon Do Hyun shared a story about his daughter, who recently entered her first year of middle school. He explained that she was an ARMY, a member of BTS’s official fanclub.

He said, “Some time ago, BTS member Jin did a remake of one of my songs. That became a big present.” He continued with a smile, “My daughter began to acknowledge me [as a popular person] after that.” The panelists burst out laughing at the thought of Yoon Do Hyun, Korea’s representative rocker of 25 years, being accepted for such a reason.

Jin posted his cover of Yoon Do Hyun’s song, “Autumn Outside the Post Office,” on June 8 for BTS’s fifth anniversary.
