Kwak Jung Wook Shares How "School 2013" Cast Has Stayed Close Over The Years

Kwak Jung Wook revealed in a recent interview that the cast of “School 2013” has maintained a close friendship ever since they worked on the drama together.

The actor recently sat down for a series of interviews to mark the end of his most recent project, OCN’s “Life on Mars.” While talking about a variety of subjects, Kwak Jung Wook brought up “School 2013.” Though he got his acting career started 22 years ago as a child actor, the project that many people know Kwak Jung Wook from is “School 2013.” His castmates included Lee Jong Suk, Kim Woo Bin, and Shin Hye Sun, who have since gone on to make a name for themselves in the industry.

Kwak Jung Wook stated, “Kim Woo Bin and Lee Jong Suk were already doing so well in their careers back then. Everyone was, from Shin Hye Sun to Park Se Young and Lee Yi Kyung. We actually still meet up and hang out together.”

He went on to say, “We stay in contact and share our support for each other like real high school alumni. We actually have a group chatroom that we still use. If someone says, ‘Let’s meet up this week,’ we all just show up. I’m the youngest in the group, and everyone really watches out for me. We see each other doing well and feel motivated by each other’s success. And we send each other our support too.”
