IU Praises Block B's Zico After Surprise Appearance At His 1st Solo Concert

IU shared her thoughts on collaborating with Block B’s Zico during a special guest appearance at his concert!

On August 11, Zico held his first solo concert “King of the Zungle Tour in Seoul” at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Seoul. IU, who recently collaborated with Zico on the hit song “Soulmate,” appeared as a surprise guest at the concert.

Describing his latest single, Zico said, “It’s a song that I poured my heart into. Thank you for liking it.”

He then invited IU onto the stage, where the two singers performed “Soulmate” together. After the performance, IU said, “I arrived a bit early and watched the concert, and it was really great. It’s really amazing that he’s doing so well at his first solo concert.”

She continued, “I met him for the first time through [my song] ‘Marshmallow,’ and we ended up getting together again for ‘Soulmate.’ While working together this time, I was surprised at Zico’s passion and talent. I will remember him as a musician who gave me good motivation.” IU then sang her ballad “Through the Night” for the concertgoers.

The second day of Zico’s solo concert will take place on August 12.
