Ji Sung Expresses Admiration For Fellow Actor Cho Seung Woo
Ji Sung revealed that he is a huge fan of his “Myung Dang” (literal title) co-star Cho Seung Woo!
“Myung Dang” is a historical film about men who compete for the throne in order to become king. Cho Seung Woo takes the role of genius feng shui expert Park Jae Sang while Ji Sung plays Heung Seon, a historical figure who tried to protect the throne during the later part of the Joseon dynasty when political power was at an all-time high.
During a press conference held on August 13 for the film, Ji Sung said, “The scenario [of the film] was entertaining. It’s an honor to just be a part of it. I was able to act with my colleagues, so there was no reason for me not to join.”
Then the actor added, “Through the musical ‘Jekyll & Hyde’, I became a fan of Cho Seung Woo. I wanted to work with him. I participated [in the movie] in order to make a good film, and he is the great, smart, and wise actor I thought he would be.”
“Myung Dang” will premiere on September 19 in Korea.
Currently, Ji Sung is acting in the drama “Familiar Wife” with Han Ji Min. Check out the first episode below:
