"Train To Busan" Director Is Working On Sequel For The Hit Film
Director Yeon Sang Ho is planning a sequel for the 2016 film “Train to Busan”!
On August 13, Yeon Sang Ho confirmed his plans and stated, “It’s still in an early stage, so there’s nothing decided yet.”
“There’s just an early version of the scenario, and the working title is ‘Peninsula,'” he explained. Yeon Sang Ho said that while the cast hasn’t been determined, the actors who appeared in “Train to Busan” will not be in this new movie.
As with “Train to Busan,” the film will tell the story of what happens as a zombie virus spreads, but the main setting will be a city rather than a train this time around. Filming is slated to begin in the first half of next year.
