"30 But 17" Is Just Shy Of Double Digit Ratings, "Lovely Horribly" Off To Solid Start
SBS’s “30 but 17” continues its first-place streak!
The August 13 broadcast of “30 but 17” recorded 8.2 percent and 9.7 percent in viewership according to Nielsen Korea. Seeing a 0.6 percent increase from its previous personal best of 9.1 percent, “30 but 17” is hovering just below the 10 percent mark.
In the latest episodes, Gong Woo Jin (Yang Se Jong) tried to push Woo Seo Ri (Shin Hye Sun) away due to his own trauma from his first love’s death, but found himself inexplicably drawn to Woo Seo Ri once more.
A new contender also premiered on August 13. Coming in at second in its time slot, KBS2’s “Lovely Horribly” kicked off with solid ratings of 4.8 percent and 5.0 percent.
Starring Park Shi Hoo and Song Ji Hyo, the drama explores the strange circumstances that surround a top star and scriptwriter who are connected through an unfortunate fate. When one person succeeds, the other experiences misfortune. The first episode also featured a hilarious cameo by Song Ji Hyo’s fellow “Running Man” castmate Haha.
MBC’s “Risky Romance” rounded out the list with viewership ratings of 2.9 percent and 3.2 percent.
