Super Junior's Eunhyuk Shares What He Hopes From His Members In 14 Years And His Future Dream

With Super Junior approaching their 13th anniversary, Eunhyuk talked about his future hopes and dreams for his group as well as himself.

During a recent interview with news outlet Sports World, Eunhyuk said, “It’s already been 13 years since I’ve been a part of Super Junior. In 14 years, Leeteuk will be 50 years old. I just hope he’ll be healthy then. He also underwent a surgery recently, and Heechul‘s leg isn’t well. I also got neck pain recently. That’s how I naturally became interested in the members’ health. Before, we used to not pay attention to health, but now we take care of each other’s health. If we’re not feeling well, we give medicine to each other and suggest good hospitals to one another.”

The Super Junior member also mentioned the veteran group Shinhwa, saying, “Shinhwa [members], who debuted 20 years ago, are already 40 years old. Time goes by very quickly. I don’t think age has much limitations these days. As long as you have the will, you’ll be able to still be active even when you’re 40 or 50 years old.”

Then he shared, “After going to South America recently, I realized I thought that I will be able to keep performing in the future. I think I can [perform] for 14 more years. It is possible if we keep making music without stopping. I want to keep doing music with Super Junior.”

Eunhyuk added, “I thought I did many things during the past 13 years, but actually, there are many things I haven’t done before. There are many genres we can still try out, like latin pop, trap, hip hop, and more.”

Eunhyuk determined, “I want to be active in Super Junior until I die. In order to do that, health comes first. I hope Super Junior will stand in front of fans 14 years later and still sing the same way. I will do my best to make that happen.”
