2PM Congratulates Wooyoung On Completing Basic Military Training As Company Commander
2PM’s Wooyoung has successfully graduated from his basic military training in a leadership role!
On August 14, 2PM announced that Wooyoung had completed his five-week recruit training as a company commander. In addition to posting a celebratory photo of Wooyoung in his army uniform, the group wrote on their official Instagram account, “Today is the day! We bear the news that our insanely talented Jang Wooyoung has admirably finished his five-week training and his military training completion ceremony as a company commander.”
Wooyoung enlisted on July 9 as the third 2PM member to serve in the military, following Taecyeon and Jun.K, who enlisted in September 2017 and May 2018 respectively. Following the completion of his basic military training, he will receive his official assignment and begin his service as an active-duty soldier.
