WJSN's Mei Qi And Xuan Yi Write Cryptic Posts On Social Media After Leaving Chinese 'Produce 101' Group

WJSN’s Mei Qi and Xuan Yi have uploaded some cryptic posts on Weibo after their departure from Rocket Girls.

Rocket Girls is the name of the final group selected through the Chinese version of “Produce 101.” Mei Qi and Xuan Yi came in first and second respectively on the show and were thus supposed to be part of the group.

On August 9, WJSN’s Chinese agency, Yuehua Entertainment, announced that the two members were leaving Rocket Girls because of “unreasonable and unmanageable schedule arrangements.” However, representatives from Rocket Girls and the Chinese “Produce 101” show stated that there was “no legal basis” for Yuehua’s announcement.

On August 14, Mei Qi wrote on her personal Weibo, “Everything is part of the road to growth. Thank you for doing this together with me. Wind and rain will pass. I have no resentments or regrets.”

Xuan Yi wrote on her own Weibo, “Our hearts and minds are one, like we’ve always been together. The feeling of being at the beginning. Gratitude. I must be myself.”

Both of them still have “Rocket Girls” in their Weibo account names.
