Lee Dong Wook Talks Skincare And Reveals What Makes Him Feel Most Masculine

Actor Lee Dong Wook recently participated in a shoot for the cover of Elle’s September issue.

During the shoot, Lee Dong Wook was given the difficult task of portraying the unrealistic aesthetic of someone who’s neither human nor god, male nor female, boy nor man. Though he initially felt a bit awkward, he soon overcame it and impressed the staff on set with his focus and immersion.

In an interview following the photo shoot, when asked how he maintains his skin, the actor said, “It’s just good makeup. But it is important to do a basic skincare routine for healthy skin. Just by nature of my job, I have no choice but to do makeup, but afterward, I always do a thorough cleansing and apply lip balm.”

Lee Dong Wook revealed that in his free time, he likes to relax at home. The actor also takes good care of the staff on any set, and he said, “The ability to shoulder that kind of responsibility and the ability to take care of the people around me is what makes me feel most masculine.”
