Hwang Bo Ra Talks About Long-Time Boyfriend Cha Hyun Woo + Being Friends With His Brother Ha Jung Woo

Hwang Bo Ra and Cha Hyun Woo are already six years into their relationship!

The actress was a guest on the August 16 broadcast of tvN’s “Life Bar,” along with “What’s Wrong with the Secretary Kim” co-star Chansung of 2PM as well as Jo Hyun Jae and Han Eun Jung.

Hwang Bo Ra spoke about her long-time relationship with actor Cha Hyun Woo for the first time on TV. They have been dating since 2013, and went public with their relationship in 2014. Now in their sixth year together, Hwang Bo Ra affectionately shared, “He always makes me feel loved at any moment.”

Cha Hyun Woo is notably the younger brother of Ha Jung Woo and son of Kim Yong Gun. Regarding this, Hwang Bo Ra commented, “I’m close to his family as well. Ha Jung Woo is my drinking buddy and he’s like my best friend. I discuss all of my work with Ha Jung Woo.”

As for why she is comfortable with discussing Cha Hyun Woo on a television program now, she expressed how she is confident in her relationship and him. “After dating my boyfriend, I’ve realized what a precious thing it is to be loved,” Hwang Bo Ra explained.

“I once got hurt while surfing when I was a beginner,” she revealed. “My boyfriend was also bruised and bleeding, but he worried about me. At that moment, I felt that he really loves me with everything on the line.”

That isn’t to say they don’t get into fights, as the actress commented, “We fight every day. It ends up like that because he’s always worrying, or he tries to stop me from doing something.”

As for what keeps their relationship going, Hwang Bo Ra named common hobbies as one of the reasons.
