Song Ji Hyo, Red Velvet's Joy, WJSN's Cheng Xiao, And Jang Yoon Ju Confirmed As MCs For New Variety Show

Song Ji Hyo, model Jang Yoon Ju, Red Velvet’s Joy, and WJSN’s Cheng Xiao have been confirmed as MCs for a new variety show!

Producing director (PD) Kim Joo Hyung (“Running Man,” Netflix’s “Busted!”), along with PD Yong Suk In, will produce the new variety show titled “Pajama Friends.” The program will air on the television network Lifetime.

Song Ji Hyo, who is popular for her roles in variety shows, dramas, and films will meet PD Kim Joo Hyung (Myuk PD) again for this program. Jang Yoon Ju, Korea’s representative model and entertainer in various fields, will showcase her charms with her candid tongue.

The younger members of “Pajama Friends” will be key members of the cast as well. Joy, a member of Red Velvet and also an “acting-dol” who previously starred in “Tempted,” will display her image as a trendsetter for those in their 20s.

WJSN’s Cheng Xiao, with her expertise in not only Korean and Chinese, but also music and variety show programs, will join the MCs as the youngest member as well. She’s also participated in the Chinese reality program “Idol Producer” as strict trainer, showcasing a different image to what one would expect from the youngest member.

“Pajama Friends” will begin shooting in mid-August and will air on Lifetime sometime in mid-September.
