NU'EST W Shares Their Secret To Staying Together For 7 Years

In a recent pictorial and interview for @star1 Magazine, NU’EST W talked about their close bond and their strengths as a group.

The idols, who will be gracing the cover of the magazine’s September issue, paid careful attention to their facial expressions and poses throughout the photo shoot. When asked about their experience modeling for beauty brands, the NU’EST W members commented, “Each of our members has his own clearly defined individuality. So we think our strength as beauty models is that our individual characteristics shine through in our charm as a group.”

They also mentioned their recent appearance on the SBS funE reality show “School Attack 2018,” during which all four members dressed up in school uniforms to sneak into a school undetected.

“We felt like we had gone back to our school days, which made us happy,” said NU’EST W. “We were pretty good students during our time at school, and we enlivened the class atmosphere.”

They added, “All of our members look good in school uniforms, so we think we’d be able to do a great job if we ever filmed a school uniform commercial.”

NU’EST W, who debuted in 2012 and is now in their seventh year together, also shared their thoughts on how they had managed to stay together and remain a tight-knit group for so long.

“[The secret is] affection,” said the idols. “Being together for a long time, we became close and grew fond of each other. We think of each other as precious and invaluable, and we believe that those feelings are the pillar of support that made it possible for us to stay together for seven years.”

When asked about their goals for the future, NU’EST W replied, “We want to become a group that always brings people joy. We will continuously work hard in order to repay the massive amount of love that we’ve received.”

NU’EST W most recently made a comeback earlier this summer with the mini album “WHO, YOU,” featuring the hit title track “Dejavu.”
