TV Schedule Changes Due To 2nd Week Of Coverage For 2018 Asian Games

The 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang in Indonesia started on August 18 and will continue until September 2.

Following last week’s changes to TV schedules, this week will also see some changes as Korean athletes are showing strong participation in the events and public broadcasting stations will be canceling regular broadcasts of dramas and variety shows in order to cover the Asian Games.

Check out the changes that have been revealed so far for this week:

Monday, August 20

The Asian Games will be broadcasting live at 8:50 p.m. KST. Thus, SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “30 But 17” will not be airing tonight at 10 p.m. KST. Viewers should be able to watch the next episode on Tuesday instead. “Section TV” is also canceled and will air on August 27. However, “Same Bed, Different Dreams 2” will air as normal at 11:10 p.m. KST.

Tuesday, August 21

“Night of Real Entertainment” will be canceled and will air on August 28 instead.

Thursday, August 23

SBS’s “Your Honor,” MBC’s “Time,” and KBS’s “Your House Helper” will be canceled and will air on August 29 instead.

Saturday, August 25

Music Core” will be canceled and will air on September 1 instead.

Sunday, August 26

The King of Mask Singer,” “Dunia,” episodes 81 and 82 of “The Rich Son,” and “My Ugly Duckling” will be canceled and will air on September 2 instead.
