DIA's Jueun Personally Responds To Dating Rumors With BTOB's Yook Sungjae

DIA’s Jueun has shared her thoughts on her recent dating rumors with BTOB’s Yook Sungjae!

Earlier this month, it was reported that Jueun and Yook Sungjae had been in a relationship since January of this year, and both idols’ agencies responded by firmly denying any romantic involvement between the two.

On August 22, Jueun sat down for a round of interviews, during which she personally reiterated that she was not dating Yook Sungjae.

“The rumors aren’t true,” said the DIA member. “They just popped up out of the blue. I saw the article during my promotions, and I was dumbfounded.”

She went on to explain, “We coincidentally happened to be at the same hangout because of a mutual acquaintance. We don’t contact each other personally, and we’re not friends, so I was startled by the rumors.”

“The other [DIA] members were dumbfounded too, but fortunately, I think the incident has since blown over,” added Jueun. “We were shocked because it was DIA’s first dating rumor. We didn’t expect DIA to get into any dating rumors.”

DIA recently made a comeback with their latest mini album “Summer Ade,” featuring the title track “WooWoo.”
