BTS Keeps Up Record-Breaking Streak As "IDOL" MV Reaches 30 Million Views

Another record has been broken by BTS’s “IDOL” MV!

As of August 25 at 3:52 a.m. KST, BTS’s new music video for “IDOL” surpassed 30 million views on YouTube. Since the MV came out on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST, it hit the milestone in only 9 hours and 52 minutes!

This means “IDOL” has set another record. BTS’s “Fake Love” was previously the fastest Korean group MV to reach 30 million views when it accomplished the feat in 16 hours and 39 minutes. The new record achieved by “IDOL” may be fastest time to 30 million views for any artist’s MV on YouTube, however there is a lack of official sources that could confirm this.

BTS’s “IDOL” MV currently has 3.6 million “likes” on YouTube.
