
August Singer Brand Reputation Rankings Revealed
On August 25, the Korean Business Research Institute announced August’s rankings for brand reputation among singers.
The rankings were determined by an analysis of big data collected from July 23 to August 24. The analysis focused on singers’ participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes.
This month, BTS topped the list with a brand reputation index of 15,503,927, which is a 46.17 percent increase from their July index of 10,607,026. The Korean Business Research Institute shared that the words “thrilling,” “special,” and “diverse” ranked high in BTS’s keyword analysis, while link analysis showed that the highest-ranking related terms included “album,” “comeback,” and “concert.” Their positivity-negativity analysis showed 92.74 percent positive reactions.
Red Velvet came in second place with a brand reputation index of 10,667,328, seeing a 192.03 percent increase from their July score.
Wanna One ranked third with a brand reputation index of 10,512,824. This is a 39.11 percent increase from July for the group.
