GWSN Talks About The Importance Of Teamwork And Goals Ahead Of Their Debut

GWSN participated in their first-ever magazine pictorial and interview!

The new seven-member girl group is featured in the September issue of The Star magazine where they posed for stylish photos and spoke about their upcoming debut in an interview.

GWSN showed off their unique charms for the concept of “Girls in Wonderland.” Although this was their first pictorial shoot, the members didn’t look tired or awkward. They earned praise from the staff for showing off their individual colors when posing with props or together as a group.

In the accompanying interview, GWSN commented, “It was a new experience, so it was really fun and cool.” Seokyoung added, “Time went by so fast because I was watching the members shooting.”

About GWSN’s concept and music style, the girl group explained, “It’s still our first time, so nothing is definite. But like the teaser images of a dark night or bright moon, we want to give a different and mysterious vibe that can be identified as GWSN’s style.”

They also explained what they emphasized the most when working on their album. “Whether we are singing or dancing, we’re a group, so we think of teamwork as the most important,” stated GWSN.

When asked what they do when there is a difference of opinions, GWSN replied, “We take time to talk amongst ourselves.” Seoryoung added, “We have a family meeting every two weeks. During that time, we open up about our concerns or problems, and take time to talk about what’s been on our minds.”

GWSN currently stars in their own reality program “Got Ya! GWSN” on Mnet. “It’s our first time filming a reality program, so there were many parts that felt awkward,” they said. “But since we filmed together, we felt less burdened. We said amongst ourselves that we could see ourselves learning and improving while filming the show. We’re growing through this opportunity.”

The interview concluded with GWSN stating what kind of girl group they want to be remembered as. SoSo answered, “A girl group that has everything.” On their goals, they added, “We will work hard to be a girl group that shines when our individual charms are combined. Also, we hope that people can be comforted whenever they listen to GWSN’s music.”
