"On Your Wedding Day" Cast Celebrates Surpassing 2 Million Moviegoers
After the “On Your Wedding Day” cast celebrated surpassing 1 million moviegoers, they once again thanked viewers for reaching a new milestone!
On September 5, it was announced that just 13 days after its premiere on August 22, “On Your Wedding Day” achieved over 2 million moviegoers on September 3. As of that date, it has a total attendance of 201,008,596 moviegoers.
The film is about Seung Hee (played by Park Bo Young), who believes in falling in love in three seconds, and Woo Yeon (played by Kim Young Kwang), who believes that Seung Hee is his only love. The movie tells a realistic story about the hardships of first love.
“On Your Wedding Day” set a new record for surpassing 2 million moviegoers in the romance genre, overtaking the record of “Architecture 101,” which took 17 days, as well as the 15-day record for “Be With You.”
Park Bo Young, Kim Young Kwang, Kang Ki Young, Jang Sung Bum, and Ko Kyu Pil took photos celebrating this accomplishment.
Kim Young Kwang posted a silly photo of the cast on his Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Me too!! 2 million!!!! Thank you so so so much,” along with the hashtags, “Wow,” “Best best,” and “Thank you for real.”
