OCN's "Voice" Confirms Season 3, Airing Next Year
A third season of OCN’s “Voice” has been confirmed!
A source from OCN said on September 10 that they are looking to get Season 3 to the air as soon as possible, likely the first half of 2019, because of its connections with Season 2 (currently airing).
The two seasons were planned together from the beginning, said producing director Lee Seung Young: “[Season 2] couldn’t be wrapped up in just 16 episodes, so a third season was brought into the picture, and Season 2 was changed to 12 episodes.”
Although some sources are stating that Lee Ha Na and Lee Jin Wook have been cast for Season 3, OCN simply stated that casting is still under discussion.
Meanwhile, the most recent episode of “Voice 2,” which aired on September 9, surpassed the 5.7 percent viewership ratings record of Season 1 with 6 percent.
