BTOB's Minhyuk Confirmed For Upcoming Drama About Dae Jang Geum's Descendants

BTOB’s Minhyuk will be appearing in a fun new drama!

On September 10, a source from Cube Entertainment said, “Minhyuk has been confirmed for MBC’s new variety drama ‘Jang Geum, Oh My Grandma‘ [literal title].”

“Jang Geum, Oh My Grandma” will be about the difficult everyday lives of three siblings (played by Shin Dong Wook, Lee Yeol Eum, and Kim Hyun Joon) who are the descendants of Dae Jang Geum, the main character of “Jewel in the Palace,” and feature delicious eating scenes.

The drama will be produced by Sun Hye Yoon and co-written by Park Eun Jung and Choi Woo Joo, who previously worked together on MBC’s “Borg Mom.”

Minhyuk will appear as a handsome and frequent customer of a convenience store. He’ll work together with Han Jin Mi (played by Lee Yeol Eum) and arouse curiosity with his mysterious actions.

“Jang Geum, Oh My Grandma” will premiere on October 4.
