SHINee's Minho Confirmed To Join Megan Fox And Kim Myung Min In Upcoming Film

SHINee’s Minho has been confirmed to appear in the film “Jangsa-ri 9.15” (tentative title).

On September 11, SM Entertainment stated, “It is true that Minho will be starring in ‘Jangsa-ri 9.15.'”

Earlier in the day, Minho was reported to play the central character of a student soldier in the film.

SHINee’s Minho may be starring opposite Megan Fox and Kim Myung Min in an upcoming war film!

On September 11, it was reported that Minho was in talks to appear in the film “Jangsa-ri 9.15” (tentative title). The movie will follow the events of September 15, 1950 and depict the Battle of Jangsa, a demonstration operation hatched to ensure the Battle of Inchon led by United Nations peacekeepers and General MacArthur during the Korean War.

Last month, the film confirmed that Megan Fox would be playing the role of the legendary journalist Marguerite Higgins, while Kim Myung Min would be starring as a guerrilla task force commander.

Minho, who recently appeared in the films “The Princess and the Matchmaker” and “Illang: The Wolf Brigade,” is currently in talks to play a student soldier. The SHINee member has reportedly expressed willingness to shave his hair down to a buzz cut if he takes the role—not an easy decision for an active idol.

“Jangsa-ri 9.15” is currently scheduled to begin filming in mid-October.
