Super Junior Exchanges Autographs With President And First Lady Of Indonesia
Super Junior has clearly impressed the President of Indonesia.
On September 10, the group’s official Twitter shared photos of the group with Indonesian President Joko Widodo. The photos show the members posing with the president and first lady Iriana Widodo, as well as an autographed copy of their 8th repackaged album “Replay.” The caption reads, “Super Junior and Indonesian President Joko Widodo meet! President Joko Widodo spared no words of praise and encouragement for Super Junior’s performance for the 2018 Asian Games closing ceremony. This is what we call ‘Super Junior Diplomacy.'”

Leeteuk also uploaded more photos on his personal Instagram of the group taking selfies with the president and first lady and a newspaper article reporting their meeting. In a photo where they hold up two signed copies of their album, he wrote, “The only Super Junior CD in the world that has Super Junior’s, President Joko Widodo’s, and the First lady’s autographs.”
The 2018 Asian Games were hosted in Indonesia, from August 18 to September 2. Both Super Junior and iKON were invited to perform at the closing ceremony, along with other Asian artists, showing off the “energy of Asia.” Check out their performances here!
