Wanna One's Ong Seong Woo To Step Down As MC Of "Music Core"

Wanna One’s Ong Seong Woo will soon step down from the position of MC on MBC’s “Music Core.”

Ong Seong Woo will host his last broadcast on September 22 at 3:15 p.m. KST. He has been a MC for the show, along with NCT’s Mark and gugudan’s Mina since February, totaling eight months.

Fans still remember the first broadcast with the three MCs, as they put out a powerful performance for their special stage. Viewers admired Ong Seong Woo’s wit, talking skills, and how he took care of and led Mark and Mina as the oldest of the three.

With his last episode as MC coming up soon, Ong Seong Woo commented, “I am so grateful for all those who have supported me and watched my progress, regardless of my lacking skills. I am very happy that I was able to stand in the position of MC for ‘Music Core.’ Sadly, this is the end, but wherever I am, I will continue to make progress and show a good side of me. Once again, thank you very much.”
