Comedian And Actress Park Mi Sun Involved In 3-Car Collision

On the evening of September 19 at about 11:45 p.m., comedian and actress Park Mi Sun was involved in a three-car collision.

Her vehicle was stopped at a red light when her car was hit from behind. Though police initially suspected that the driver was operating the vehicle under the influence, it was later revealed that the driver was using a cell phone.

Park Mi Sun, who was promptly taken to the hospital, was released this morning with only minor injuries. She decided to keep her stay at the hospital short due to practices for her play, which she performed for the first time yesterday; she was on the way home from the play when the accident happened. The actress is currently resting at home, and will be carrying on with her schedule as planned.

Speaking about the accident, Park Mi Sun said, “If the car had hit us head on, it would have been so much worse. Our car was stopped, and we were hit from behind. From the force of collision, our car then hit the car in front of us.”

On how she’s doing, she said, “My knees and elbows were hurt, and I had a herniated disc in my neck from before, so that’s been irritated. In general, my whole body hurts. I received some treatment after being taken to the hospital, but I will be continuing to receive outpatient treatment. I’m so lucky that this was the extent of it. Considering the accident, I wasn’t hurt very much.”

Park Mi Sun is most well-known as a television host, having hosted shows such as “Quiz to Change the World,” “Happy Together Season 3,” and “We Got Married.” She has also made a variety of appearances in dramas and films, most recently in KBS2’s “to. Jenny.”
