Watch: Seo Kang Joon and Esom Have A Dramatic First Meeting In Upcoming Drama

Seo Kang Joon and Esom’s upcoming JTBC drama “The Third Charm” (working title) has released a third teaser!

The new Friday-Saturday drama is a love story about two people who have known each other for 12 years. Seo Kang Joon plays Ohn Joon Young, a model student who is a perfectionist and a planner, while Esom’s character Lee Young Jae is more spontaneous and impulsive.

Compared to the first teasers, which were full of emotionally charged scenes, the third teaser is more light-hearted and shows the first meeting between Ohn Joon Young and Lee Young Jae.

The clip first shows Seo Kang Joon struggling to make it out of a crowded subway cart. He quietly whimpers, “Excuse me. I need to get out,” but alas, the doors close on him right as he’s about to leave. Later, he sits in a drunken state on the bus, smiling like a fool.

Young Jae, on the other hand, is an impromptu, active volcano-like woman who dances with her shoulders as she eats lettuce wraps and shouts loudly on the subway. In the clip, she drags a man out of the subway as she shouts, “Stop it with your hands, you pervert!” Joon Young witnesses this all go down in surprise. For Joon Young and Young Jae, who have opposite personalities, their first impressions of each other are not pleasant.

Later, the clip shows them at a hair salon. At this point in their lives, they seem to be friends, and Joon Young asks, “It’s cool if a guy gets a perm too, right?” Young Jae enthusiastically responds, “You don’t believe me?” They go on an exciting amusement park date and at the end of the day, Young Jae remarks, “Today’s the first day of our relationship, okay?”

The mood abruptly changes as they meet again some years later at a New Year’s Eve party. Seo Kang Joon narrates, “The girl I should’ve never met again. I met her again.” Esom looks back at him with tears in her eyes. Their meeting, as well as the events that took place within their seven-year gap, is a mystery.
