September 23 marks the singer’s birthday, and Yang Hyun Suk, the founder of her agency YG Entertainment, posted a greeting on Instagram.

After wishing her a happy birthday, Yang Hyun Suk briefly touched on her long-awaited comeback. He said, “Lee Hi is currently recording new songs.”

Lee Hi’s last comeback was in 2016, with her second album “Seoulite.” Since then, she featured on Epik High’s 2017 b-side track “Here Come the Regrets” and sang an OST for the film “Golden Slumber” at the beginning of this year. She also made her Japanese debut in March with “LEE HI JAPAN DEBUT ALBUM.”
