Ryu Hye Young To Make Drama Comeback In 3 Years Since 'Reply 1988'

Ryu Hye Young will be making her drama comeback after three years.

The actress’s agency recently confirmed, “Ryu Hye Young has been confirmed to appear in O’live’s upcoming drama ‘Eun Joo’s Room’ (literal translation) as the role of Eun Joo. As it is her first steps after moving agencies, we will wholeheartedly support her so that she can focus on her acting, since she will be greeting the public with a project after a long time.”

Based on a webtoon, “Eun Joo’s Room” is about a single woman who is in between jobs, who also uses interior design to restore her own and others’ lives. Ryu Hye Young will be playing Shim Eun Joo, an editing designer who quit her job and is taking a break from work. After leaving her job, she loses her motivation for everything. Sunk in depression, she spends her days in her 6 pyeong (approximately 213 square feet) studio apartment. One day, she receives a designed present from a man named Min Seok, and begins to delve into interior design.

Ryu Hye Young debuted in 2007 through the short film “High School Girls.” Since then, she has appeared in works such as “Forest,” “INGtoogi,” “My Dictator,” and “The Mayor.” She is best known for her role in hit drama “Reply 1988.”
