Park Myung Soo Talks About The Gift He Received From IU And What It Might Mean For Their Collab
Park Myung Soo and IU’s friendship is still going strong!
The two stars first collaborated in 2015, when they paired up as a team for MBC’s “Infinite Challenge Music Festival” and created the song “Léon.” Since then, Park Myung Soo has spoken multiple times about the possibility of another collaboration with IU, saying that he hopes to work with her again in the future and has already prepared a song for which he needs a female featuring artist.
On the September 29 broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show,” Park Myung Soo mentioned that IU still sent him gifts for the holidays. However, he confessed, “I couldn’t bring myself to contact IU to ask her to feature on my song. I personally felt like that would be ill-mannered.”
Park Myung Soo went on to reveal, “IU sent me a ginseng set [for Chuseok]. She sent me the same ginseng set that she did for New Year’s.”
He added with a laugh, “I think that this gift might mean that she’s denying my request for her to feature [on my song].”
IU is currently working towards a comeback in October, after which she will embark on a nationwide tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her debut.
