Watch: "The Smile Has Left Your Eyes" Reveals Suspenseful Preview Of 1st Episode

tvN’s upcoming drama “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” has released a preview of its first episode!

On September 30, the mystery melodrama gave viewers a glimpse of its upcoming premiere. The drama is about a dangerous man named Kim Moo Young (played by Seo In Guk), who is suspected of murder; a woman named Yoo Jin Gang (played by Jung So Min), who has the same emotional scars as Kim Moo Young; and her brother Yoo Jin Gook (played by Park Sung Woong), who is a detective going after Kim Moo Young.

In the new preview, a man seems to be describing Kim Moo Young by recalling, “He was a kid who had an odd look in his eyes,” and another man adds, “I get strangely nervous when I look at him.” Kim Moo Young slowly looks up and hands Yoo Jin Gang a glass of beer as her brother looks on.

A woman asks, “Kim Moo Young, you didn’t think about me at all, did you?” and he replies, “I missed you,” as he leans in to kiss her. Yoo Jin Gang looks at a photo of Kim Moo Young as the voiceover declares, “For some reason, I had a bad feeling from the very beginning.”

Yoo Jin Gook then looks shocked as he sees Kim Moo Young being escorted out by police officers, and someone tells him, “A murder case. It wasn’t a suicide, but a murder.”

The detective then whispers, “I’ve caught you. Want me to tell you something?” Just then, Kim Moo Young opens the door to a car that Yoo Jin Gang is sitting in. A man seated across from Yoo Jin Gook then exclaims that he’s figured it out after connecting the pieces, and the detective replies, “Now do you get it?”

“The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” premieres on October 3 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki!
