Ahn Jae Hyun Talks About Gaining Weight For His Role In "The Beauty Inside"

Ahn Jae Hyun revealed his confidence towards his character portrayal in the drama, “Beauty Inside.” The drama will tell the story of a top actress, whose face changes to a different person’s for a week every month, and a man who cannot differentiate people’s faces. Seo Hyun Jin will play the female lead Han Se Gae and Lee Min Ki will play the male lead Seo Do Jae.

Ahn Jae Hyun will play the character Ryu Eun Ho, a pure and bright soul who wants to become a priest. He is a refreshing and cheerful person who is a good friend to Han Se Gae. He is also a trustworthy and reliable character who knows about her secret and helps her keep it safe.

He said, “I think my synchronization with the character is at about 300 percent. I really wanted to play this character from the beginning. I wanted to show my masculine side through this drama. So I gained about 8 kilograms and built my body. I had that much passion and desire to portray the character well.”

He also mentioned that he was truly happy to portray a character that he really wanted to play. He continued, “The script is so fun. I am thankful to appear in a drama like this, so I’m enjoying my time while filming the scenes.”
