iKON Talks About Performing At The Closing Ceremony Of The 2018 Asian Games

iKON shared their thoughts on their performance at the 2018 Asian Games closing ceremony.

On October 1 at 2 p.m. KST, the group held a press conference ahead of their comeback release, where they talked about performing at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.

B.I. shared, “It was an honor to participate in such a huge event. We participated with a reverent heart. We sang Korean songs in Indonesia, but our fans sang along so we got goosebumps. It’s a moment we can’t forget.” He continued, “We were overwhelmed because it was the biggest place we ever performed at. We didn’t know that they would sing along to the entire song, so we were amazed and thankful.”

iKON recently released the third part of their “New Kids” trilogy with “New Kids: The Final” and title track “Goodbye Road.” The track is about the breakup following a happy, flower road-like time spent in love. The lyrics were written by B.I. and Bobby, and produced by B.I., Future Bounce, and Bekuh BOOM. B.I. also participated in writing lyrics for the other four songs in their mini album.
