IU's Short Film Series Confirms Impressive Actor Lineup

Yoon Jong Shin‘s Mystic Entertainment previously announced a short film series with IU as the lead, and it was reported that Bae Doona will appear in one of the four films.

Mystic Entertainment confirmed that Bae Doona’s appearance and revealed more of the supporting actor lineup on September 2. “Many strong actors such as Bae Doona, Park Hae Soo, and Kim Tae Hoon will appear in our original series with IU, which will respectively be produced by four different directors.”

Bae Doona is known worldwide for her unique acting skills. Park Hae Soo recently gained popularity for his drama “Prison Playbook,” and Kim Tae Hoon is famous for his delicate portrayal of various emotions.

Lee Sung Wook, whose nickname is ‘scene stealer’ for having great presence with any scene that he is in, also joined the cast. Jung Joon Won, who is known for his steady acting and great character portrayal, and Shim Dal Gi, a rising rookie in the independent film industry, will also appear in the films.

Viewers have great anticipation for IU’s acting and what charms she will show while starring in four different films with these strong supporting actors.

The directors for the four films will be Im Pil Sung, Lee Kyung Mi, Kim Jong Kwan, and Jeon Go Woon. Each director will tell the main character’s story in a different way.

The series recently began filming, and more details will be unveiled later on.
