Watch: Cha Tae Hyun And Bae Doona Become Best Friends With Their Exes' Exes In New Drama Teaser

Upcoming KBS 2TV drama “Matrimonial Chaos” has released a new teaser.

Based on a Japanese drama of the same name, “Matrimonial Chaos” will ask the question if marriage is really the completion of love, and explore women’s and men’s different thoughts on love, marriage, and family.

Jo Seok Moo (played by Cha Tae Hyun) and Kang Hwi Roo (played by Bae Doona) are a married couple with opposite personalities, while Jin Yoo Young (played by Lee El) and Lee Jang Hyun (played by Son Seok Gu) are a married couple who live together while hiding their inner thoughts. The four of them will influence one another and grow together.

On October 2, viewers got a glimpse at the fun chemistry between the four characters through a teaser.

In the clip, Jo Seok Moo and Lee Jang Hyun form a unique bromance. Jo Seok Moo approaches the other first as he is curious about Lee Jang Hyun being the husband of his first love Jin Yoo Young, but Lee Jang Hyun actually tries harder to get closer to him. Jo Seok Moo asks how he can get popular like Lee Jang Hyun, who in return tells him that he looks good in a hat and also asks he likes camping.

Jo Seok Moo asks, “Why do you keep coming here?” When Lee Jang Hyun suggests, “Let’s be friends”, and Jo Seok Moo replies, “I don’t want to.”

Kang Hwi Roo excitedly says to Jin Yoo Young, “It’s my first [time meeting] my husband’s friend from college.” Jo Seok Moo’s ex-wife and ex-girlfriend get closer after grabbing food and drinks together. They then have a blast singing and dancing together at a karaoke.

Kang Hwi Roo declares, “I’m best friends with my husband’s ex-girlfriend.” Jin Yoo Young says, “I like you, Hwi Roo” and she replies, “Me too.”

“Matrimonial Chaos” will premiere on October 8 at 10 p.m. KST, and will be available on Viki! Check out the teaser below!
