Seohyun Opens Up About Kim Jung Hyun's Early Departure From "Time"
In a recent interview with MyDaily, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun talked about how she felt having to carry the MBC drama “Time” after her co-star Kim Jung Hyun left the show a week prior to its finale due to eating and sleeping disorders.
First, Seohyun clarified, “It’s not at all because we didn’t get along.”
She said, “As a fellow actor, my heart hurts. While it’s also important to see a project through to the end, we’re first just normal people. I think the person is [more important than the drama], and I completely understand.
“As someone remaining on set, I thought it was right to finish the drama to the best of my ability. I just concentrated on my character. Moreover, the entire staff had their attention on me, so I felt I needed to do even better.”
On working with Kim Jung Hyun, Seohyun said, “As our respective characters, we worked hard. When I first saw the script, I had a picture in my mind of what kind of character I would want Cheon Su Ho to be. [Kim Jung Hyun’s Cheon Su Ho] was exactly that.”
