BTS's 'IDOL' Becomes Their 11th MV To Reach 200 Million Views

Another one of BTS’s music videos has reached an impressive milestone!

At approximately 1:15 a.m. KST on October 7, BTS’s “IDOL” hit 200 million views on YouTube.

“IDOL” surpassed this milestone in just a little over 43 days (1 month, 12 days, 7 hours) since its release on August 24. This is a personal best for BTS as it achieved this feat one day faster than “Fake Love.”

In the days after its release, the music video broke numerous view-count records and it currently holds the title of having the highest number of views garnered in the first 24 hours in YouTube history.

This is also notably BTS’s 11th music video to reach 200 million views, following “Dope,” “Fire,” “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “DNA,” “Not Today,” “Save Me,” “MIC Drop” remix, “Boy in Luv,” “Fake Love,” and “Spring Day.”

Congratulations to BTS!

Jam out to “IDOL” as you watch the psychedelic music video again!
