TWICE's 'BDZ' Becomes Their 5th Consecutive Japanese Release To Be Certified Platinum

TWICE continues their impressive streak in Japan!

The girl group’s first Japanese studio album “BDZ” was released on September 12, and on October 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) confirmed its platinum certification.

An album is certified platinum by RIAJ when it exceeds sales of 250,000.Their Japanese debut best album “#TWICE,” first single “One More Time,” and second single “Candy Pop” were all certified platinum. Their third single “Wake Me Up” was the first by a foreign female artist to be certified double platinum.

TWICE is currently on their first arena tour in Japan and is set to hold their third anniversary fan meeting in Korea on October 28. The group is also preparing for their next comeback.
