OCN Drama "Priest" Shares First Glimpse Of Yeon Woo Jin And Park Yong Woo
Upcoming drama “Priest” has shared a first look at its lead actors Yeon Woo Jin and Park Yong Woo as exorcists.
“Priest” is about a doctor and an exorcist who work together at the South Catholic Hospital to protect the people they love and the supernatural events that occur. Yeon Woo Jin and Park Yong Woo will be starring in the drama alongside Jung Yu Mi.
In newly released photos, Yeon Woo Jin and Park Yong Woo transform into exorcists. Both dressed simply in black priest garb, Yeon Woo Jin wears a sly grin while Park Yong Woo has a strong, serious gaze.
Their characters Oh Soo Min (played by Yeon Woo Jin) and Moon Ki Sun (played by Park Yong Woo) have a long-standing mentee-mentor relationship. Oh Soo Min, also known by his Catholic name Michael, leads unofficial exorcism association 634 Regia and is an exorcist who protects his principles. Moon Ki Sun, known by his Catholic name Peter, is an exorcist who tries to protect everyone.
Oh Soo Min decided to become an exorcist after his mother passed away from not having been exorcised on time. A man who prefers action and practice over words and prayer, he relies on Moon Ki Sun as a son would a father and grows into a sometimes clumsy yet passionate exorcist. Eight years after his mother’s death, the two work together seamlessly.
Yeon Woo Jin and Park Yong Woo are said to have great chemistry ever since their first shoot. A source from the drama stated, “With perfect immersion into their roles, Yeon Woo Jin and Park Yong Woo have been heating up shoots with their great chemistry. Please look forward to the two exorcists’ special collaboration as they fight evil to protect those they love.”
“Priest” is directed by Kim Jong Hyun, who previously directed “Take Off 2” and “Superstar Mr. Gam,” and is written by Moon Man Se. The drama will air its first episode on November 17.
