gugudan's Mina Portrays An Adorable Shapeshifting Feline In "Mama Fairy And The Woodcutter"

gugudan’s Mina is taking on a peculiar role in tvN’s “Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter”!

Based on a popular web comic, the drama is about 699-year-old fairy Sun Ock Nam (Moon Chae Won and Go Doo Shim)who has been waiting for her woodcutter husband to be reincarnated. While working as a barista in modern times, she coincidentally meets Jung Yi Hyun (Yoon Hyun Min) and Kim Geum (Seo Ji Hoon), two men who both seem to be her reincarnated husband she’s longed for.

In the drama, Mina is Jum Soon, the daughter of Sun Ok Nam and her husband. Reincarnated as a tiger in her current life, she manages to become human through training. She also has the ability to shape-shift between human and cat as she pleases, and subsequently causes several unexpected situations. Jum Soon is also secretly a writer of steam web novels.

In new stills, Mina portrays her character’s curious personality with a wide-eyed expression on her face. Dressed in a dainty hanbok and hair elegantly styled down, she seems like the spitting-image of her mother Sun Ock Nam.

In order to figure out who her dad is, Jum Soon hangs around both Jung Yi Hyun and Kim Geum. With her adorable persona and bubbly energy, she will be both a driving force and comic relief in the drama.

“Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter” will premiere on November 5 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki. Check out a trailer below!
