'Heart Surgeons' Catches Up To 'Terius Behind Me' After Rise In Viewership Ratings

The Wednesday-Thursday drama ratings battle is heating up!

On October 11, SBS’s new medical drama “Heart Surgeons” enjoyed a significant rise in its viewership ratings. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of the show scored average nationwide ratings of 7.4 percent during its first half and 8.3 percent during its second.

In an incredibly close race for drama viewers, MBC’s “Terius Behind Me” achieved remarkably similar ratings during the same time slot. The spy drama, which saw a slight decrease in its viewership from the night before, scored average ratings of 7.4 percent and 8.8 percent for its two parts.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” maintained its average ratings of 3.0 percent for its latest episode—exactly the same as the night before. (Because “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” airs on a cable network, its viewership ratings are calculated slightly differently from those of public broadcast network dramas.)

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Ghost Detective” scored average viewership ratings of 2.0 percent and 2.2 percent for the night.
